Terms & Conditions

The terms on which you may use this website and send us an enquiry, including the limits of our advisory role.

Last updated: 18 August 2026

These terms govern your use of credmen.in and any enquiry you send us through it. By using this website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. About us

This website is operated by CredMen Advisors & Consultants Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office at No. 72, 1st Floor, 2nd Main, Kathriguppe, Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bengaluru – 560085, Karnataka.

2. The nature of our services

CredMen provides advisory services. We help businesses prepare for and communicate with credit rating agencies, prepare appeal notes, structure resolution plans, present financial and operational data, and prepare for public markets.

Three things follow from that, and they matter:

  • We are not a credit rating agency. We do not issue credit ratings and we are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Credit Rating Agency. Ratings are assigned solely by the agency concerned, on its own criteria and at its own discretion.
  • We cannot promise an outcome. Nothing on this website is a representation that engaging us will produce a particular rating, an improved rating, a successful appeal, a completed listing or any specific financing outcome.
  • We do not give investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. Nothing on this website is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or to enter into any transaction. Take your own professional advice before acting.

3. Website content

The content of this website is provided for general information about our services. We take care over it, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or free from error, and we may change it at any time without notice. Statistics, timelines and descriptions of past work are indicative and should not be read as a forecast of what will happen in your case.

4. Permitted use

You may view, download and print pages from this website for your own business use. You may not:

  • copy, republish or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without our written permission;
  • use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
  • introduce malware, or use automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt the site;
  • use our enquiry forms to send unsolicited marketing, spam or abusive content.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, layout, graphics, logos and the CredMen name and mark — belongs to CredMen or is used with permission, and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. Nothing on the site grants you a licence to use any of it beyond the permitted use described above.

Names and marks of credit rating agencies, financial institutions and companies referred to on this website belong to their respective owners. They are used to describe the context in which we work. Their use does not imply any endorsement of, affiliation with, or sponsorship by those organisations.

6. Enquiries and communications

Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship and places neither of us under any obligation. A relationship begins only when we and you have agreed a scope of work in writing. Please do not send confidential or price-sensitive information through the enquiry form; wait until an engagement is agreed and we have told you how to send it securely.

We treat information you share with us in the course of an engagement as confidential, subject to any disclosure required by law or by a regulator.

7. Third-party links and content

Where this website links to or embeds content from another site — for example a map of our office — we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CredMen and its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Indian law. Our liability in respect of a paid engagement is governed by the engagement letter for that work, not by these terms.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for business or operational reasons, without notice.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to chidananda.r@credmen.in or raised on +91 90191 67662.

Note for CredMen: these terms were drafted around the services this website describes and the way it actually operates. They are a sound starting point, not a substitute for advice — please have your legal adviser review clauses 2, 8 and 11 in particular, and confirm they sit correctly alongside your engagement letters.
