Privacy Policy
How this website collects, uses and protects personal data, and the rights available to you under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
CredMen Advisors & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (“CredMen”, “we”, “us”) provides credit rating advisory and debt syndication services. This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you. It is written to reflect what this website actually does — not a generic template.
1. Who we are
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, CredMen is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described below.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
This website collects personal data at one point only: the enquiry forms on the home page and the contact page. Those forms ask for your name, email address, telephone number, company name, the service you are interested in or a subject line, and your message. Every field is information you choose to type and send.
Information collected automatically
When you submit an enquiry, our form software also records the IP address the submission came from, your browser's user-agent string, the page you submitted from, and the date and time. This is kept for security and to help us identify automated abuse. Our web server additionally keeps standard access logs.
What we do not collect
- We run no analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
- This website sets no cookies of its own on an ordinary visit.
- Fonts and images are served from our own server, so simply reading a page does not disclose your visit to any third party.
- We do not collect financial account details, identity documents or payment information through this website.
3. Why we use it, and on what basis
We use enquiry data for one purpose: to read your enquiry, respond to it, and carry on the resulting conversation about our services. Where you have given us information in the course of an engagement, we also use it to deliver that engagement and to meet our own record-keeping obligations.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given by choosing to submit the form. Where we are required to retain records by law, our basis is that legal obligation. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data.
4. Who your data reaches
- Our own team. Enquiries are delivered to our business mailbox and are readable by the colleagues who handle client enquiries.
- Our email provider. Enquiry notifications are sent using Google's mail service, so Google processes that email in transit and in storage.
- Our hosting provider. The website and its database run on servers operated on our behalf.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information or need advice on a legal claim.
We do not share your enquiry with credit rating agencies, lenders or any other party without asking you first. Where an engagement requires us to present your information to a rating agency, that is done on your instructions and as part of the agreed scope of work.
5. Third-party content on this site
- Google Maps. The contact page embeds a Google map showing our registered office. Loading that map is a request to Google, and Google may set cookies or receive your IP address as a result. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Google reCAPTCHA. Where enabled on our forms to prevent automated abuse, reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Its use is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms of service.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can pick up the thread if you come back to us, ordinarily not more than 24 months from your last contact with us. Records connected to a live engagement are kept for as long as that engagement runs and for the period required by applicable law and our professional obligations. You can ask us to erase your enquiry sooner.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Access to the enquiry records and to the site's administration is restricted to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information while it is in transit to us, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it once received.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it;
- correct or complete information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- erase personal data where it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for;
- withdraw the consent you gave, at any time — though this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these, write to us at the address above. We will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for making a request.
9. Grievance redressal
